02020 - 02021 update
Perhaps I should be updating this on 13th January each year, but I've thought of doing so now. Using
this historical data
:
Dom selected
89.52 CNY
115.5 NOK
10.00 GBP
Phil selected
15020 KRW
0.001600 BTC
0.008387 XAU
At
currency tables at the current time of writing
(and a spot value from
CoinDesk
) these are worth
89.52 CNY -> 10.07 GBP
115.5 NOK -> 9.87 GBP
10.00 GBP -> 10.00 GBP
15020 KRW -> 10.15 GBP
0.001600 BTC -> 34.14 GBP
0.008387 XAU -> 11.70 GBP
Thus Dom's portfolio is worth a geometric mean of GBP 9.97 and Phil's portfolio is worth a geometric mean of GBP 15.95. Whichever way you slice it, I think Phil is pretty clearly winning at this point, but still nine years and change to go...
